The Aquarium of the Pacific features more than 10,000 fish, mammals and birds from 550 species. Visitors can see sharks, seals, sea turtles, sea horses, sea dragons, giant spider crabs, and moon jellies. Several touch labs provide hands-on encounters with sea urchins, sea cucumbers, bat rays and other underwater creatures. You can also visit the new Lorikeet Forest Exhibit and feed the lorikeet nectar.
Hours:
Open from 9 am to 6 pm every day of the year, except
December 25th and during the weekend of the Toyota Grand Prix of
Long Beach.
Parking:
The city of Long Beach provides convenient parking in an
enclosed parking structure only a few feet from the Aquarium's
entrance. The maximum parking fee is $6 (per day) with an Aquarium
ticket stub. The day-rate without an Aquarium ticket stub is $7.
