Here's a slide show of the parade held in East Los Angeles, to celebrate Mexico's
Independence Day. Thousands of people where lined up at 1st Street and Cesar Chavez
Blvd on September 8, 2002 to join in on the celebration. There was
lots of charros, mariachis, school bands, radio and TV personalities,
It was great. The parade ended at Belvedere
Park where a fair was being held to celebrate the occasion.
